“Fear in the Mouth” (original title: “La Paura in Bocca”) narrates the adventures of a young boy called J. Merrywater. It's a no-budget mixture of stop motion animation and live action.
The world in which he lives is not like ours, though, everything is made in cardboard, and it’s inhabited by little beings made out of cork and by characters with huge mouths. J. is looking for a friend, someone to play and laugh with; but his research will be obstructed by his deepest fear: the fear of being eaten.
